Deliver Value with Powerful Email Marketing

Yea… so what, it is true that there are a lot of bad companies out there sending spam emails all over the place and if you’re like me, your server can’t possibly catch them all.  I’m not even joking… remember getting an email about lanterns a few months back… not the green kind, which I might be interested in… the kind they use in coal mines.

Lanterns aside, other companies deliver value with their  emails.  Personally, I expect to get that Redbox email telling me I returned my movie.  Most of us look for that coupon code for something, even if it’s just ten percent off.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used a GoDaddy.com coupon codes to knock a few bucks off domain purchases for clients.  The companies that keep us digging through our emails to save money are the companies that are delivering value to your inbox.  Don’t even get me started on Groupon, I’m sure email marketing is core to their online business model… oh, Groupon.

One of my favorite services to help me manage the marketing jungle has been MailChimp.  In this video I highlight how easy it is to get up and running with a MailChimp Campaign for your business for free.

One thing I don’t even touch on this the 3rd Party Services that MailChimp integrates well with, one of those being WuFoo.  Delton Childs Media Services has been using WuFoo Form Service for years making it easy for clients to have very complex or very simple data collection on their websites.  When you couple WuFoo with MailChimp you’re able to do amazing things like automatically subscribe the people who submit a form on your website to one or several email marketing campaign lists you have set up inside MailChimp.  Now that’s POWER!

And if I showed you how simple it is, you might just completely freak out.
