Overall, this mic performs pretty well for a cheap off the shelf solution for pulling pretty good audio. Using this mic I’d try to avoid shooting out doors, it seemed to be picking up a lot of ambient audio pretty well which give me a little consern about room noise like fridges and A/C shutting on and off, so you’ll want to pay extra close attention to that. I can imagine doing a fine job in a jam with this nice little mic and I’m glad to have something in my bag that is simple and effective for quick and fun jobs.
Plus… that 20′ cord…. goes a long way!
Don’t forget to pick up the extra button cell batteries though!!!!
